- Weight! Engineers of top enduro bikes spend countless hours trying to reduce the weight of the bike, while enduro riders often add kilograms of protective gear with questionable functionality. The weight is usually added to the unsprung part of the suspension, which has consequences. It is important to take weight into consideration, as every extra gram in hard enduro will be carried on your back.
- Construction. Do not attach the front brake disk guard by the bolts on the fork legs! They have a tightening torque of 10 Nm. They are located in a thin and delicate area. Under certain circumstances, this place can crack, causing the wheel to turn sideways at high speeds! The axle end bolt does not serve that purpose either. It is not on the level of the guard and all the shocks will cause structural damage.
Regarding the design, we were able to achieve two goals simultaneously: reducing weight and increasing durability. Our guard and wheel spacer are combined, eliminating the need for extra fasteners. This design ensures that all shocks are absorbed by the axle and hub bearing, which are capable of withstanding significant loads. The guard, which we have made thicker than the ones from our competitors, is made of aircraft-grade 7075T651 aluminum and can handle any load.
